Focus Terminal for macOS
The short version. Focus Terminal is sold only through the Mac App Store. Apple takes your payment, handles the tax, and issues any refund. You get a personal licence to use the app on your Macs — a one-time purchase, no subscription, no account with us. If something is wrong, email waaridh@icloud.com; if you want your money back, see the Refund Policy.
Focus Terminal is published by Waaridh Borpujari (“we”, “us”), based in India. It is distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store.
Apple is the merchant of record for your purchase. Apple sells the app to you as our agent, takes the payment, and calculates, collects, and remits any sales tax, VAT, or GST due on the sale. The Apple entity that appears on your receipt and your card or bank statement depends on the country your App Store account is registered in — check your emailed receipt for the exact name.
We never see your card or bank details and cannot charge your payment method ourselves.
You are buying a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Focus Terminal for your own personal or internal business use, on Macs you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service that apply to your account.
That licence is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which governs your use of the app. Where the Standard EULA and these terms conflict, the Standard EULA governs.
You may not resell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or publish the application or any part of it, nor attempt to pass it off as your own work. You may not remove or alter any copyright or identifying notices. We retain all intellectual property rights in the application.
Focus Terminal is a one-time purchase of USD 2.99 on the United States storefront. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and nothing further to pay.
Every other storefront is priced by Apple in local currency from the equivalent price point — for example ₹199 on the Indian storefront. The price shown on the App Store listing at the moment you buy, in your own currency and inclusive of the taxes Apple collects, is the price you pay. We can change the price for future purchases, but never for one you have already made.
This is a digital product delivered by Apple. The app downloads to your Mac through the App Store as soon as the purchase completes, and stays available to re-download from the Purchased list of the Apple Account you bought it with. There is no download link to lose and no physical shipment.
If the download fails or the app will not install, that is between you and Apple in the first instance — but tell us at waaridh@icloud.com anyway, because it may be our bug.
Focus Terminal requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later and runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Please confirm your Mac meets these requirements before purchasing. The app uses an internet connection to load map imagery during a flight; other features work offline.
Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store at no extra cost for as long as we publish them for version 1.x. We do not promise any particular update schedule, feature, or future release.
Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not by us. How to ask, and what your statutory rights are, is set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Focus Terminal is provided “as is”. Beyond the guarantees your local consumer law gives you and cannot exclude, we make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Focus Terminal is a productivity aid. It is not a medical, safety, or clinical tool, and it does not block or disable other applications on your Mac.
These terms do not affect any mandatory rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in, and rely on the mandatory consumer protections of, the country where you live.
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version published at the time of your purchase is the version that governs your order, so save a copy if you would like one.
Questions about these terms, or anything the app does: waaridh@icloud.com. For billing, payment, receipts, or refunds, contact Apple Support — as merchant of record they hold the transaction, and we cannot act on it for you.
